Dolores W. Dziadus

July 2, 1934 – June 18, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sweet mother and grandmother, Dolores “Dee” Dziadus, nee Putek. Dolores died peacefully at the age of 87, and she is now in heaven enjoying eternal life. Mom, you were the best mother and grandmother that anyone could ever have. Your unwavering love and dedication to your family has been a constant source of inspiration and example to me throughout my entire life. We will miss you and love you always. I promise to keep your memory alive in my heart until we meet again, Mom.

Dolores was the beloved wife of Stanley, and the loving mother of Joanne (Steven) Williams, and devoted grandmother to Veronica Williams, M.D., and Mark Williams. Dolores is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Putek of Woolrich, Pennsylvania, and Tricia Putek of Johns Creek, Georgia, as well as her nieces and nephews: Hank Putek, Jr., Gwen Echols, Janet Putek and Jon Putek. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Frances Putek, and her brothers, Henry Putek, Sr. and James Putek.

Dolores was born and raised in Chicago and lived there her entire life. She was a first generation American who was very proud of her Polish heritage and culture. She enjoyed listening to the local neighborhood polka bands and cheering for her favorite Polish baseball player, AJ Pierzynski of the Chicago White Sox.

The visitation for Dolores will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 3 to 8 pm at Gibbons Family Funeral Home, 5917 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago, IL 60634. 1. My family and I are sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of meeting Dolores and Stan at our scout breakfasts in the basement of St. Priscilla parish. While Dolores may be gone you and your family should take comfort in the legacy of all the lives she touched over these many years. In that way, she lives among us forever. God bless!

    1. Dear Neal and Mary Beth,
Thank you very much for your kind words and expressions of sympathy. It means a lot to our family,
      Joanne
