Marcia Ann Hawes, from Woodstock IL, formerly of Berwyn IL has passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025. She lost her battle to COPD which she has been battling for the past 6 years. Marcia left behind her son, Lowell Jr. and her 6 siblings, Maryann, Michael, Margaret, Martin, Matthew, and Michelle. She enjoyed disconnecting from the everyday grind to travel and enjoy nature. Marcia was an avid dog and cat lover. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local shelter or the animal charity of your choice.
Visitation will be at Gibbons Family Funeral Home, 5917 W. Irving Park Rd (1/2 Block East of Austin) on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 10am -12pm.

Marcia was a friend and client of mine for the past few years. She was a dignified lady with so much grace and charm. I so enjoyed visiting with her and Mark in their home. As much time as we spent together, I never heard her complain once! I will miss her but I am thankful her pain and struggles are over and know she is at peace and in perfect health now in Heaven. I rejoice in her faith in Jesus as her Savior. I so admire Mark for his love, care, and devotion to her through her long-term illness.
