Liam, all the memories and fun we had will never been forgotten. The dance practices, competitions, trips to Irish Fest, Taco Bell runs, the teams, the solos- you did it with ease and grace. Everyone who ever knew you will remember you for your energy, charisma, smiling face and humor. You were and will always remain one of the good ones. People lucky enough to call you ‘friend’ are forever indebted to you for the joy and happiness you brought into our lives. I will love you forever and miss you every day of my life. Continue to watch over all of us. Lord knows we need it. Your friend always- Eddie

Noreen and Tara, no words can help. We’re so very sorry, to say the least, hard enough to lose a husband/parent of many many years, but, then the loss of a child/ siblings, is just soul destroying. Liam, God rest his soul, of what I knew of him, was very much a character and without a doubt, had very strong McGowan ways and characteristics. We used be in contact through the NFL seasons, few years back, (by messenger), he loved his sport and had great knowledge of sports. His beloved Bears 🐻, were always keeping him on his toes. May god be good to both James and Liam rest in peace 🙏, love to both Aunt Noreen and Cousin Tara ❤️ 😘

Noreen and Tara, no words at this time, can ease your pain, we are so very sorry to hear of the passing of your son, and brother Liam, may he rest in peace 🙏, I only knew Liam through messaging each other, for a few years, mainly, during his beloved NFL seasons, and, more often than not, would revolve around Liam’s love of The Bears. A character to say the least, whom, was a mind of knowledge when it came to sport in general. Had lost touch the last few seasons, but, I’m certain he was very proud of The Bears this season.
I know uncle James has Liam tucked under his wings in heaven, abd both are reunited with many of our loved ones aunt Noreen. May god be good to them both 😢 🙏

I almost met Liam when he was an inpatient at Lutheran general hospital a couple of years ago when I went there to visit me mum there as she had pneumonia;i mentioned to my sons school chum eddy Grohoviac that I was going there and he asked me to check in on his fellow Irish dancer and myself being a student of Dennis Dennehy back in the 60’s.
That Elan kindred spirits of being a fellow dancer 🕺 I felt obliged to offer Liam some father’s advice to putting a smile on his face;alas he had just checked himself out;but I will see him tomorrow:so 😔 sad
