Vince Heneghan, 71; formerly of Tourmakaedy, Co. Mayo, Ireland; beloved husband of the late Kathleen A. Heneghan, nee McGing; loving father of Katrina O’Malley, Peter and Vince (Sandra); cherished grandfather of Aidan, Mackenzie, Vinny and Luca; dear brother of Peadar, Brendan, Kevin, Patricia, Martin, Irene and the late Marie; devoted son to the late Peter and Kathleen; fond brother‑in‑law, uncle and godfather of many; Family & Friends will meet Saturday for a Memorial Mass, 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Church 6040 W.   9. Vince was most likely the greatest Irishman I ever met. He had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back. He would help every Irishman arriving in Chicago, helping them in the construction field. His mission in life was to look out for others, not himself. He was known to give colorful nick names to his friends, so much in most cases I didn’t know their real names!! As for pulling off pranks, no one was better!! He pulled several off on me. Vince was the best and God is in for a treat with him around heaven. God bless you my friend, I treasure the good times we had.☘️☘️
