Bernadine Rocks nee Gavin, passed away peacefully in her home; beloved wife of the late Patrick; loving and devoted mother of Patrick (Peggy Cunniff), Mary (Quentin) Doherty, Theresa (James) Small, Maureen (the late Timothy) McDermott, Colleen (Dave), Michael, Paul (Jan) and Matthew; cherished grandma of Beth (Jordy), Kelly, Joseph, Sarah (Mike), Kevin, Patrick C. (Kimberly), Patrick D., Michael, Maura, Catherine, Kathleen, Hannah, Claire, Liam, Maureen, Lana and the late Erin; adored great-grandmother of Eliza, Patrick, Mary Elizabeth and Caeden; dear sister, daughter, aunt, cousin and friend to many; Family & Friends will gather Thursday, May 23 for Visitation 10 AM until Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM at St. Edward Church, 4350 W. To My Dear Cousins,
I will forever cherish the fond memories I have of Aunt Bernadine. She was always welcoming and kind during my summer visits to Chicago. She was a person of great faith, intellect and charity. Aunt Bernadine will always hold a special place in my heart. I send my deepest, heartfelt condolences to all of my cousins who feel her loss.
