I am so sorry for your loss. David enjoyed the Greco Gardens program for many years and we loved having him participate with us. I remember a Family Fest visit when David’s relatives came in the gardens with him and he was able to show them some of the plants that he helped to take care of and work that he accomplished. He was so proud! We will miss him.

Hi Sharon,
My brother, Dan and I came into the Gardens with David and we were happy to meet you, his teacher. You were friendly, kind and patient and I knew David loved coming to work with plants. He showed pots and containers that he painted and he beamed with pride! We saw plants he cared for and watered. I was mighty impressed with David’s horticultural skills; he was very precise and neat so I knew he’d be a good painter and waterer of plants. When he first began in the Gardens and he had to touch dirt with his hands, I didn’t know if he would last—it was pretty funny. He’s careful to be neat and clean and here the teacher was telling him to touch dirt! It went against his core values! : ) David adapted and learned it was all part of the process of gardening. He really liked having you as a teacher! My brother and I enjoyed meeting you at Family Fest. Thank you for being wonderful teacher to our dear brother, David. —-Laura Loeger
