Duff, James Francis (Jimmy), 67 of Chicago, loving husband of Wendy (Christian) Duff passed away peacefully April 7, 2024. Jim battled his cancer bravely for several years.
He spent 40+ years in the financial industry at both CBOE and CBOT. He finished his career with Macquarie Worldwide. Jim enjoyed spending time with his many friends and his family. With his big heart, he always had a smile and laugh for everyone. He was a devoted Chicago sports fan, but especially the White Sox and Bears.
Jim loved his big Duff family; his late parents John & Catherine Duff; his siblings the late John Duff, Kathy Duff, Tom (Pam) Duff, the late Susan Duff, Anne (Bob) Dorneker, Margaret (Will) Walsh, Mary (Jim) Arey, Patty (Bob) Marino and Robert Duff. He also loved his extended Christian family; his in-laws the late George & Betty Christian and Laura Christian, Linda (Dennis) Miller, Doug (Ginny) Christian and Brad Christian. Jim was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to a Celebration of Life on Sunday, April 21st from 12:00 – 4:00 PM at La Villa Restaurant, 3638 N. Pulaski, Chicago.
Jimmy was a friend to all. He will be missed 😢.
