On behalf of the Members and Officers of LIUNA Local #4, I want to express our deepest condolences to the Mc Nicholas family on the passing of Tom. He will be remembered as gentlemen and a great union man. Tom taught many laborers’ the ins and outs of constructing deep foundations (caisson work) in Chicago and throughout the United States. He was appreciated for his knowledge and his willingness to share his work experiences with his fellow laborers. Tom was a member of Local #4 for 62 years. He will be missed.
