Patrick J. Murphy, 80, passed away peacefully on May 29,2026 after a valiant fight to the end. Native of Meelick, Swinford, Co. Mayo; loving husband of Kathleen (nee Ruane) for 50 years; devoted father to Joseph, Eileen, and Bridget Stojiljkovic (Marko); cherished grandpa to Charlie and Rose; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews here and abroad; loving brother of the late Mary, the late Mike, the late Martin, the late Teresa, the late Helen, the late Tom, and the late Annie.
Visitation Wednesday 10 AM until Mass 11 AM at St. Eugene Church, 7958 W. Foster Ave. Interment Maryhill Cemetery 8600 N. Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL. Arrangements entrusted to Gibbons Family Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick Fathers.
