Wally, Emily, and Family,

My deepest condolences. I was Sheila’s coworker at BofA, and I cannot imagine my time there without her — she was resilient, hardworking, and full of fire. We spent hours on the phone digging into problems, and no challenge was too big for her to take on (my husband joked he always knew when I was on with Sheila because my “Chicago accent” came back).
When I had my babies, Sheila checked in on me frequently, reminding me to take care of myself as a working mom. I think of her every time I choose to walk instead of drive, or wake up early to beat the day. I’m deeply grateful to have known her. Praying for her eternal rest, and for her family’s strength and comfort during this unimaginable loss.

Although Sheila and I first met through work, over the years she became such a dear and cherished friend. For more than 20 years, I was so fortunate to have her in my life.
I will miss our regular talks more than I can put into words. Sheila had such a kind, caring nature and a warmth that made everyone around her feel special. She was truly a wonderful person and a beautiful friend.
I feel incredibly blessed to have known Sheila and to have shared so many conversations, laughs, and memories with her. She will be deeply missed and will always hold a special place in my heart.

Sheila was pure magic. I worked with Sheila for years at Bank of America and she became not just a colleague but a friend. She got to know my kids through stories, photos, would always ask about them. Sheila would make me laugh talking about the frozen Chicago winters and how walking into the office from the “L” was an adventure in itself, covered head to toe battling the wind! Sheila was so kind and my day was always better after we spoke. I will be thinking of her husband and family during this hard time. Sheila will be watching all of you and shining her light from above. I feel lucky to have know her. Rest in peace sweet Sheila.
