Gerald “Gerry” Francis Tichelbaut of Niles, IL, 74, died peacefully at home on December 27th, 2022 surrounded by family and friends; devoted and loving husband of Mary nee Drislane for 14 years. Born in Lake Forest, IL. Served his country as a USMC Private First Class during Vietnam War with Honorable Discharge.

Gerry was a life-long die-hard Chicago Bears & Chicago White Sox fan – hence his nickname “Sox Pops”- He spent many days at White Sox games. Gerry was an Eagle Scout. He worked 18 years at AT&T in Rosemont then Des Plaines where he retired from in September 2017.

Yvette Hartline

Yvette Tonda Hartline, life-long resident of Chicago, passed away peacefully at home on December 13th, 2022, at 61 years old. She was surrounded by her loving devoted family and fought her cancer battle with courage, grace, and dignity.

Yvette was married to her high-school sweetheart, and husband of 40 years, Thomas G. Hartline. They met at Jewel-Osco Food Store when Yvette was a student at Alvernia All-girls Catholic High School, Class of ’79. Together they raised 4 children, followed by 3 (soon to be 4) beautiful grandchildren that will miss their Nana dearly.

Above all else, Yvette loved children. For many years she ran an in-home daycare, and recently was nannying for two sweet little boys. She was passionate about cooking and was a graduate of Washburne Culinary Institute. She loved spending time in the kitchen creating memorable meals for her friends and family, especially around the holidays. She was well known for her one-of-a-kind salsa.

Yvette is survived by her husband Thomas G. Hartline. She leaves behind a legacy of love in her own kind, successful children: Ryan Hartline (Yessica); Kyle Hartline; Cailey Hartline Krueger (Dr. Erik Krueger), who are expecting their second child; Tyler Hartline and grandkids: Mason, Jaxon, and Olivia. Yvette is also survived by her parents, Eduardo and Yvette Arteaga and her brothers Carlos Tonda (Vickie), Edward Arteaga, and Alan Tonda (Lillian).

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 18th from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Gibbons Funeral Home at 5917 West Irving Park Rd., Chicago, IL 60634.

Mass will be held on Monday December 19th at 10:30 A.M. at Saint Bartholomew Church at 3601 N Laverne Ave., Chicago, IL 60641. Yvette will be laid to rest at All Saints cemetery at 700 North River Rd., Des Plaines, IL 60016.
